A few years back I was asked to create some video content to accompany my regular column for a travel magazine. Expert photographer and videographer Jeff Topham shot the footage, allowing me to ramble and ad-lib to my heart's content -- before cutting everything into a tight three-to-four-minute presentation.
Some of these videos are below...including the one that won a Canadian Tourism Commission Best Online Video about Canada award (yes, I was surprised as well!). The videos caught the eye of a big TV production company which invited me to audition for a presenting role on an upcoming series covering cool train trips around the world.
